In an EMERGENCY:
In the case of humane euthanasia, contact your claims adjuster first. If you need assistance, we can walk you through the process. Unless otherwise specified, fatal cases  require a necropsy at the insured’s expense to determine the cause of death.

Equine Mortality / Medical and Surgical CLAIMS:

If you are uncertain whether or not to report a claim, call our office 502.585.3277 and our agents can help you determine if opening a claim is necessary. It is better to report incidents to our office promptly, rather than waiting for bills to escalate; you may miss your reporting period.

Information you will need to provide:

  • Name of horse

  • Date of occurrence
